What is The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is a stunning piece of architecture, built from iron and designed by Gustave Eiffel whose name the tower took on. The Eiffel Tower is open for visitors nearly every day of the year. There can be certain one-off exceptions so make sure to check in advance that it will be open when you plan to visit. There are two seasons, the first from June 21 until September 2 sees the lift and stairs open from 9.00 – 00.45. For the rest of the year, the stairs are open from 9.30 – 18.30, and the lift from 9.30 – 23.45
